Log Home Maintenance

Log homes do require some initial and periodic maintenance. The two recommended exterior maintenance products that we recommend are TWP (Total Wood Products) and Permachink "Lifeline Ultra-2".

TWP is a penetrating oil based product that has a 2-step wet on wet application.

Permachink Lifeline Ultra 2 is a water-based, 3-step process with the last coat being a clear topcoat. The top coat is also designed to be a maintenance coat, therefore eliminating the need for adding more pigment on future maintenance coatings.
